1. What is etisalat Internet Calling Plan?
The etisalat Internet Calling Plans allow Prepaid and Postpaid mobile, as well as eLife home users to make free unlimited voice and video calls with anyone in the world using one of the available supported apps in the App Store and Google Play Store. You can subscribe to either, or both, of the Internet Calling Plans below:
• Internet Calling Plan for Mobile: Use this plan with your mobile data package (Prepaid or Postpaid) to make voice and video calls while on the move
• Internet Calling Plan for eLife: make voice and video calls from your eLife home Wi-Fi network

2. How can I activate the service?
• For mobile users, subscribe to the Internet Calling Plan through My Etisalat UAE app or texting 'ICP' to 1012
• For eLife Home users, subscribe to the Internet Calling Plan through:
- My Etisalat UAE app
- calling 125 from your home landline
- calling 101 or texting 'EICP' to 1010 from your mobile number that is registered with your eLife account
• Download any of the registered supported apps available in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• You are ready to access unlimited voice and video calls, as well as texting anyone who has the same application, across the globe.
It’s important to remember:
- All devices connected to the eLife home Wi-Fi will be able to use the supported apps with an active eLife Internet Calling Plan subscription
- If you are using the Mobile Internet Calling Plan, the data consumption will be charged from your mobile data package

3. Who is eligible for Internet Calling Plans?
• All Mobile Prepaid & Postpaid users – consumer and business
• All eLife Home Wi-Fi users

4. What are the charges and how will it be billed?
The Internet Calling Plans have monthly subscription fees:
Mobile Internet Calling Plan: AED 50 per month
Prepaid: The fee is deducted from your mobile account and the plan is valid for 30 days. The service is automatically renewed and will remain active until you choose to unsubscribe
Postpaid: The fee is billed monthly and the service is automatically renewed and will remain active until you choose to unsubscribe. When you add the plan for the first time, you will be charged on a prorated basis until the end of your bill cycle
eLife Internet Calling Plan: AED 100 per month
eLife: The fee is billed monthly and the service is automatically renewed and will remain active until you choose to unsubscribe. When you add the plan for the first time, you will be charged on a prorated basis until the end of your bill cycle

5. Does the purchase of the Mobile Internet Calling Plan grant me free mobile data?
The purchase of the Internet Calling Plan does not grant you free data and you will be charged for the data consumption used by the supported apps from your existing Postpaid and/or Prepaid data service.

6. Can I use any data packages with my Mobile Internet Calling Plan?
Yes, the Internet Calling Plan works with any of the mobile data packages on etisalat mobile Postpaid or Prepaid services. Please ensure that you have an active mobile data package to avoid Pay-as-You-Go rate charges.

7. Can I use my Mobile Internet Calling Plan while roaming?
Yes, you can use your Mobile Internet Calling Plan while roaming on etisalat mobile data. Data will be charged at standard roaming rates or from your data roaming package, if you have subscribed to it.

8. Do the supported apps users, who lives outside the UAE, need to subscribe to the Internet Calling Plans?
No, only etisalat users should subscribe to any of the Internet Calling Plans, whether Mobile or eLife. The users outside of the UAE, whom you want to call or text, only need to download the same supported app.

9. Can I use the supported apps to make voice and video calls while connected to public Wi-Fi, such as in shopping malls, restaurants, etc.?
No, the Internet Calling Plans are available either for eLife home broadband accounts and can only be used on your home Wi-Fi, or Mobile users and can be used with your data packages.

10. If the eLife Internet Calling Plan is active on my eLife account, can all members connected to the same Wi-Fi use the supported apps to make voice and video calls?
Yes, if the Internet Calling Plan is active on the eLife account, then all supported apps users connected to that Wi-Fi can make voice and video calls.

11. Can I subscribe to the Mobile Internet Calling Plan and the eLife Internet Calling Plan at the same time?
Yes, you can subscribe to both types of the Internet Calling Plans at the same time and you will be charged for each plan separately.

12. How do I unsubscribe from the Internet Calling Plan?
• To unsubscribe from your Internet Calling Plan, please follow the steps below:
- For mobile subscribers: via My Etisalat UAE app or text 'CCP' to 1012
- For eLife Home subscribers: via My Etisalat UAE app or text 'C EICP' to 1010
Note: Once you have unsubscribed from your Internet Calling Plan, the service will be cancelled immediately and there will be no rental fee refund.

13. I am not receiving notifications when the app is closed, in the background, or if my screen is locked. What should I do?
Some Android devices have an option to restrict notifications or background activities of apps due to battery optimisation features. Please make sure your battery optimisation function is off if your device has such feature. Also, please make sure you enable floating and lock screen notifications.

Daily Internet Calling Plan

1. What is the Daily Internet Calling Plan?
The Daily Internet Calling Plan allows etisalat prepaid mobile users to make unlimited voice and video calls using a set of supported applications available for download from the App Store and Google play store.
The plan comes with a free 1GB data allowance to be used only with the supported applications.

2. What is the validity of the Daily Internet Calling Plan and what are the fees?
The Daily Internet Calling Plan is a one-time plan valid for 24 hours from the time of subscription. The plan costs AED 5.

3. How to activate the Daily Internet Calling Plan?
• Via My etisalat UAE app
• By dialling *101*20#
• By texting “DICP” to 1012

4. How many times can I purchase the Daily Internet Calling Plan?
You can purchase this plan multiple times in a day.

5. Who is eligible to purchase the Daily Internet Calling Plan?
All etisalat prepaid mobile users are eligible to purchase the Daily Internet Calling Plan.
It’s valid for both business and consumer mobile prepaid users.

6. Do I need to purchase data to start using the Daily Internet Calling Plan?
This plan comes with a free 1GB data allowance to be used only with the supported apps.
If the free allowance is consumed before the end of its 24-hour validity, the data for the supported apps will be consumed from other active data plans, if available.

7. Can the Daily Internet Calling Plan be used while roaming?
No, this plan is available only inside the UAE. For roaming, we recommend subscribing to the monthly mobile Internet Calling Plan and purchasing a roaming pack.

Terms & Conditions

1.The Internet Calling Plan is an add-on service to your existing etisalat mobile and/or eLife service.
2. A subscription to the Internet Calling Plan (the “Plan”) is required in the UAE to initiate app-to-app video or voice calls using the supported apps available on the App Store and Google Play Store.
3. Etisalat reserves the right to add, remove, or otherwise modify the list of supported apps listed on the etisalat website.
4. With an Internet Calling Plan subscription, you can make video or voice calls to any other same app user anywhere in the world.
5. Validity:
• For the monthly mobile and eLife Internet Calling Plan:
30 days for mobile prepaid users, with auto-renewal. For mobile postpaid and eLife Home users, the fees will be billed monthly and service shall be automatically renewed and will remain active unless removed.
• For the Daily Internet Calling Plan (prepaid mobile users only):
24 hours from the time of subscription.
6. Auto-renewal:
• For the monthly mobile (postpaid and prepaid) and eLife Internet Calling Plan:
The Plan will be auto-renewed until you terminate your subscription with an unsubscribe request.
• For the Daily Internet Calling Plan (prepaid mobile users only):
There is no auto-renewal for this plan.
7. Unsubscribing:
• For the monthly mobile (postpaid and prepaid) and eLife Internet Calling Plan:
Once you unsubscribe from the Plan, the service will be cancelled immediately and you will lose access, and there will be no refund for the rental fees paid.
8.With an active subscription to the eLife Internet Calling Plan, calls can be made only when connected to the Wi-Fi network of your home broadband service.
9. Data Consumption:
• For the monthly mobile Internet Calling Plans:
With an active subscription to the Monthly mobile Internet Calling Plan (postpaid or prepaid), the data consumed by the VoIP apps will be charged from your data package. The subscription to the monthly mobile Internet Calling Plan does not grant you free data.
• For the Daily Internet Calling Plan (prepaid mobile users only):
This plan comes with a free 1GB data allowance to be used only with the supported applications. If the free allowance is consumed before the end of its 24-hour validity, the data for the supported apps will be consumed from other active data plans, if available.
10. Roaming
• For the monthly mobile Internet Calling Plans:
A subscription to Internet Calling Plan for mobile is required to make app-to-app calls when roaming on mobile data. Data will be charged at standard roaming rates or from your data roaming package, if available.
• For the Daily Internet Calling Plan (prepaid mobile users only):
This plan is available only inside the UAE. For roaming, we recommend subscribing to the monthly mobile Internet Calling Plan and purchasing a roaming pack.
11.All mobile Internet Calling Plans (Daily or monthly) can be used only from one mobile account (postpaid and/or prepaid).
