Terms and Conditions


  1. The Apple Music subscription provides you with access to digital music and other related content on the Apple Music app (the “App”) and allows you to stream Apple Music to a single device at a time (the “Service”).
  2. These terms are in addition to etisalat’s general Terms and Conditions and your contract with us for telecom services, which can be found at https://etisalat.ae/en/system/docs/consumer/pdf/en/general_terms_and_conditions_jan_2_2018.pdf .
  3. Six months free access (the “Free Period”) to an Individual Apple Music subscription (the “Subscription”) on the App is available to a number of new consumer postpaid plans.
  4. In order to benefit from the offer during the Free Period and then the Service, you must download and register the App on a mobile device containing an etisalat SIM card that operates on either iOS 8.4 or Android 4.3 or above. The App and Service are provided by Apple Distribution International (“Apple”). You must read and accept the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions including the terms of use for Apple Music. You agree to use the App and Service at your sole risk.
  5. The Free Period will start as soon as we accept your request for adding the Service and will run for six consecutive months and cannot be deferred, paused, transferred to another etisalat customer of any type or redeemed in stages.
  6. You can cancel at any time and the cancellation will happen instantly with no exit charges. However, if you cancel it during the first six months, you’ll be unable to get or resume the Service again free of charge.
  7. Following the Free Period, you will automatically be charged AED 19.99 (VAT included) a month unless you choose to cancel. We’ll apply the charge to your etisalat account (“Etisalat Account”) each month until the Service is terminated. As soon as the Service is terminated, you will no longer be able to use the Service to stream music. You can manage the Service at any time on the go by dialling *222# from your mobile.
  8. Apple ID is required to be linked to the Apple Music App to enable you to have access to full functionalities within. Therefore, to access some features of the Service (including downloading for offline use) you will be required to enter an Apple ID. If you do not have an existing Apple ID, you will be required to register for one. When registering, you must provide Apple with some personal information, such as your name, birth date, email address, passcode and responses to security questions. The information you supply when creating an Apple ID will be processed in accordance with Apple’s privacy policy. Visit https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/en-ww/. We will contact you to remind you to create an Apple ID in order to make full use of the service.
  9. We will share information about you with Apple and vice versa. The information shared will allow us and Apple to determine your eligibility to the Free Period, to give you access to the Service, to administer the Service (including the billing for your subscription to the add-on after the Free Period) and to prevent and detect fraudulent or unlawful activity.   10. Streaming/downloading from Apple Music whilst in or out of the UAE will consume data. You must have mobile data allowance or connect to a Wi-Fi network, else you will be unable to stream or download music.
  11. If you’ve already benefitted from our six months’ free Apple Music offer, you will not be eligible for this offer.
  12. During the Free Period, the Service will not appear on your etisalat monthly bill. After the Free Period, the Service will be charged at the standard price listed in Clause 7 of these Terms.
  13. If you choose to upgrade, move plans or enter into a new contract for mobile services, you will be unable to get another Free Period. If you port-out or otherwise terminate your Etisalat Account, the Service will be terminated.
  14. The Subscription is provided to you as an additional service and does not form part of your etisalat postpaid plans with us. This additional service can be added to each eligible line on your Etisalat Account. We’ll refer to it as a Service, on your bill, online and when you call customer services. You cannot have more than one service of Apple Music per eligible line registered to your Etisalat Account.
  15. Before requesting the Service, you must acknowledge and understand that any change to the Service’s cost or the Service does not entitle you to cancel your Agreement with us for mobile network services.
  16. If you choose to cancel the Service, for whatever reason, or if we have to remove it from your Etisalat Account because you’ve failed to comply with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions applicable to your use of the App, you’ll lose the opportunity to add the Service to your Etisalat Account again for a free period.
  17. If you have had the Service and then cancelled it, you will be entitled to add it again to your Account but as a chargeable service with a monthly price of AED 19.99 (VAT included). You will not be entitled to benefit from another Free Period.
  18. We may suspend access to or terminate your Subscription to the Service if you fail to pay a bill by the date set out on it or commit another material breach of your Etisalat Account agreement for etisalat services.
  19. If you are an existing Apple Music member, you will need to cancel your existing subscription directly with Apple. If you do not, you will continue to be charged by Apple.
  20. The Apple Music service is for personal and non-commercial use only.
  21. etisalat is not responsible for examining or evaluating the content or accuracy of any third-party services, and shall not be liable for any such third-party services. Data displayed by the App and Service is for general informational purposes only and is not guaranteed by etisalat.
