Established in June 2007 under Law 14 of 2005, the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development is an independent agency of the Abu Dhabi Government. Its mission is to develop local SMEs by fostering a culture of investment, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

His Excellency Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, an Abu Dhabi Executive Council member, chairs the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED). He spearheads the sustainable “Falcon Economy” strategy and manages multi-billion-dollar financial transactions and sector restructurings. H.E. also chairs the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), positioning Abu Dhabi as a financial hub, and leads the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development. Additionally, he supports Hub71’s tech ecosystem and serves on various boards. He began his career at the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange and holds a Master’s in Economics from the UK.

Mrs. Mouza Obaid Saif Al Nasri is the Acting CEO, previously serving as Executive Director of the SME Sector at ADDED. With a career dedicated to supporting SMEs in Abu Dhabi, she has led key initiatives, including the International Aid program, the Khalifa Innovation Center, and the Emirates Association for Franchise Development, all contributing to Abu Dhabi's economic growth.
