Contract durations is as per agreed original contract period between the client and Etisalat with two options being available: No Contract and 12-Month Contract.

After two months, plan is downgraded to the original plan purchased. Up on contract renewal, users would get their thirteenth month plan rental for free.

A hassle-free upgrade/migration to any other Business First Plus & Business Xtreme Plans can be done without any exit charges. Subscribers of Business Xtreme 900 & 1200 would need to complete the 12-month duration until they upgrade or downgrade.

For AED 900 and above plans the outgoing roaming minutes benefit will be provided within 24 - 48 hours.

Business 375 (no contract plan) & Business 325 (12-month contract plan) promotional double data i.e. 54GB will be provided for a limited time only. After the promotional period ends, AED 325 & 375 plan customers will enjoy 27GB as standard Local Data benefits.

Penalty Free Service:

Customer can exit the service contract within a maximum period of 5 days from activation without penalty charges (i.e. exit charges) if the service contract was mis-sold or the provided service did not comply with the service terms and conditions.

What are the device offerings with Business Xtreme?

With Business Xtreme Plans, you may avail any device available from the application form under a 12-month contractual option. 

Device add-ons are optional and are sold as per their standard retail price. You can subscribe to the device add-on when activating the base plan or even after it has been activated.

What add-ons are available with Business Xtreme?

Business Xtreme would come with an extensive list of add-ons for extended local and international minutes, local or roaming data add-ons. View list of add-ons here

Can customer downgrade/upgrade between Business Xtreme base plans?

If you are upgrading or downgrading within the Business Xtreme before 2 months, an early contract termination/service cancellation would apply. This would mean a one-time charge of the monthly rental would be charged. In the case that the online offer has been redeemed, you can upgrade to plans only after the completion of the promotional period of two months with the contract being reset and exit charges being applied. Subscribers of Business Xtreme 900 & 1200 would need to complete the 12-month duration until they upgrade or downgrade.

What are the exit charges?

Exit charges applicable for device and base plans as per the following:

       (i) Exit from the Base Plan only – 1-month of base plan rental fee. 

       (ii) Exit from Base plan with a Device - 1-month base plan rental fee + remainder months of rental for device.

Can you take a plan without a device?

Yes. You can choose to subscribe independently to the Business Xtreme Plan without devices.

What are Unlimited allowances?

Unlimited allowances are better defined as adhering to the fair usage policy or capping of minutes applicable.

How can I check my plan’s balance allowances?

You can check your balance allowances by simply dialing *140#

How will customers get a Careem Plus subscription for first 3 months?

The user receives a link from e& example: (Dear customer, your <Plan Name> on 10/07/2024 includes the first 3 months free of Careem Plus subscription. Click on https://careem.me/44W3olE & use the promo code XXXXXXXX to claim. Thank you for choosing e&.).

User clicks on the link and is redirected to the Careem Plus sign-up page or Careem Plus offers page.

In case the user doesn't have a Careem account, the link will redirect the user to the App Store/Play Store to download the app and create an account.

Then the user will be able to click again, and step 2 will apply.

User can then enter promo code shared by e&.

If promo code is valid, the user will be able to then subscribe to Careem Plus for 90 days free (we still require an AED 1 auth/release)

 

Which customers and plans are eligible for the free promo?

The eligible plans are Standard ATL offers (Business First Plus and Business Xtreme and online offers.

What if the customer didn’t receive the SMS for the promo code?

The promo code that confirms plan activation is included in the message. Therefore, once the plan is successfully activated and fulfilled, the customer will receive a single message containing both the confirmation and the promo code.

Can he take the promotion benefits if the customer is already a Careem Plus user and is paying for a Careem Plus subscription?

No, such a customer is not eligible for promotions.

If a customer buys multiple new SIMs, can he/she use all the promo codes on one mobile number?

No, only one promo code will be linked to one number.

Which Emirates Careem service is available?

The Careem Plus is available in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

What will happen if the customer deletes the SMS by mistake?

The customer should contact the call center, where the representative will verify the information in CIM. From CIM, they can review the message sent to the customer, including all the details mentioned below.

If a customer uses one promo code “3 months” and again, the customer moves to another eligible plan and gets a new promo code, can it work?

No, as it is valid for new Careem Plus users only.

If customers use the free version of Careem, can they use the promo code?

It applies to all Careem users who have never tried Careem Plus.

What is the validity of an unused promo code?

The promo code is valid till 31st Dec’24.

Will there be a notification to confirm before the commencement of the paid months starting from the fourth month?

No. However, customers will see all the information clearly on the Careem app across touchpoints before the paid months commence.
