• Upon reaching FUP, customer can reset the pack to enjoy full data speed; a new charge applies and FUP is reset to zero
• There shall be no carry-over on any unutilized FUP cap in case of plan renewal or moving to another Roam Like addon.
• When you run out of data on your Freedom plan, your data will be blocked to protect you from additional charges. You can view and subscribe to roaming packages by dialing *177# (free). If you wish to use data while roaming at standard rates, send UBLOCK to 1010 (SMS roaming charges will apply). This service is valid for 24 hours and will automatically stop afterwards.

• Usage enquiry for the pack in use is as per locally available channels (check local pack details for more info)
• For one-time packs, cancellation is not allowed. Upon reaching the end of validity, pack expires and standard roaming charges apply.
• For monthly auto-renewal plan, customers can unsubscribe ant any time, and will be charged the full plan subscription of AED 500 and will enjoy the benefits till the end of the calendar month

Example 1: For the first month, Customer subscribed and unsubscribed on the same calendar month

The customer subscribed on day March 10th and unsubscribed on the 20th of March

The customer will be charged AED 500 (because customer did not continue the subscription to this recurring plan). The service will remain active until the end of the month of March.

Example 2: Customer unsubscribed after at least one renewal

The customer subscribed on 25th March and unsubscribed on 4th April

The customer will be charged prorated seven days for March ~ AED 113 (pro-rata because the customer continued), plus AED 500 for April

The service will remain active until the end of April

Example of FUP cap pro-ration:

Customer who is on freedom plan AED 1000 (with 12 months commitment, 100GB local data and 4,000 local minutes) subscribed on 15th November to: RLH Monthly Auto-renewal plan subscription, then thereby FUPs are:

• Data: FUP is capped up to 20GB (instead of 40GB) and assuming the customer already consumed 20GB locally
• Outgoing voice calls: FUP capped up to 1500 minutes (instead of 3000 minutes) assuming the customer already consumed 1000minutes locally
• Incoming voice calls:  250 minutes (instead of 500 minutes), this is an additional benefit regardless of the embedded allowances of the eligible freedom benefits

All the above will depend on customer behavior and consumption of his/her usage allowances

• If subscribed to RLH but roaming with non-preferred operators in preferred countries:
  • Usage is blocked to protect from extra pay-as-you-go data charges
  • Voice and other non-data services are charged as per standard roaming rates

• Roaming data usage without a pack is blocked for customer protection from excessive charges, wherein they can view and purchase the heavily discounted pack through *177# (for free). If customer intends to use data roaming at standard roaming rates, text UBLOCK to 1010 (standard SMS roaming rates apply) valid for 24-hours afterwards will automatically revert to blocking again.
• When migrating from postpaid to prepaid, or migrating from non-eligible postpaid plan, then Roam Like Home will be removed and customer will be charged the full amount
• Voice and data metering are as per the customer local plan usage increments
• VAT in roaming will follow the active rules of taxation, and at this time, VAT for roaming is zero

Local Plan: Freedom Plan 300 (no contract) with 20GB and 750 flexi minutes

Roaming in preferred roaming partner: Mobily, Saudi Arabia

• You can use up to 20GB of your allowance at full speed, after which data is blocked to protect you from extra roaming charges. We highly recommend you purchase other roaming packs which you can view/purchase by dialing *177# or using My Etisalat UAE App.
• You can make outgoing calls to the UAE, numbers belonging to Saudi Arabia, and other flexi-eligible countries from your Freedom minutes allowance but capped to 3000 minutes (fair usage policy). Beyond this cap, rates as per local plan tariff shall apply.
• When you call a number belonging to the visited country, your usage is from your local minutes allowance
• Receiving calls is free for up to 500min for the subscription (not consumed from voice allowance) and upon full consumption of the 500min, incoming calls will be charged at AED 0.36/min

Local Plan: Freedom Plan 1200 (contract) with 200GB and 4000 local minutes

Roam like Home: Monthly Voice & Data (onetime)

• You can use up to 40GB of your allowance at full speed (after which further data can be used at reduced speed)
• You can make outgoing calls to the UAE and numbers belonging to Saudi Arabia from your Freedom minutes allowance but capped to 3000 minutes (fair usage policy). Beyond this cap, rates as per local plan tariff shall apply.
• Calling other IDD destination not covered by your Freedom plan is charged standard IDD rates.
• When you call a number belonging to the visited country, your usage is from your local minutes allowance

Receiving calls is free for up to 500min for the subscription (not consumed from voice allowance) and upon full consumption of the 500min, incoming calls will be charged at AED 0.36/min
