    Starting from 1 January 2018, most of Etisalat by e&’s products and services shall be subject to 5% value added tax in compliance with the federal laws and regulations levying and regulating tax in the UAE.

    VAT is a consumption tax that the end user is obligated to pay and Etisalat by e& will only be acting as a collection agent on behalf of the taxation authority.

    Etisalat by e& is legally obliged to comply with this government mandate from 1 January 2018.
