Roam like Home lets you use your local Freedom plan allowance to use data, make and receive calls, and send SMSs (where applicable) when roaming in any of e&’s preferred roaming partners, covering 123 countries and in-flight use.

New Freedom plans are also eligible to purchase Roam Like Home.

Enjoy using your flexi minutes as if you are in the UAE. If you make outgoing calls to any destination within the flexi list, they are consumed from your allowance. However, if you call any destination outside the list (excluding the visited preferred country), then they are charged as per the local plan tariff.

Calling 101 or 8002300 while roaming shall be free of charge and not taken from your allowance

You can track your local plan usage in the same manner available as while in the UAE (for example, using the e& UAE app). Alternatively, you can call e& Customer Care for more information.

If your Roam like Home is still valid, local rules/rates shall apply. Note that notifications on your local plan will also be available even if you are using it on Roam like Home. We will also send you notifications when you reach the fair usage thresholds.

Subscription to Roam Like Home (with voice flavors) comes with capping rules, that is up to 3000 outgoing minutes can only be used from your local allowance. Therefore, even if you have unlimited capacity for making calls, this is still subject to fair usage policy.

Yes, you can use it while roaming with Aermobile, which is why it’s recommended to subscribe before boarding so you can enjoy the service onboard eligible airplanes.

Yes, you can. Our weekly or monthly roaming packs are activated before Roam like Home. On the other hand, Roam like Home can be activated first before the daily roaming plans.
